A Disney inspired themed wedding with a modern take of the black and ivory motif. Duchay and Eric were such a joy to work with, there was never a dull moment, and meetings were usually filled with laughter, good food and non-stop chattering. Spending time with them, made us even more ecstatic to be a part of their love filled day.
Both artists and architects with a quick wit and impeccable taste they made us swoon over all their carefully planned details.
The ceremony was held at the picturesque Don Bosco Church in Makati with an interesting geometric design, high bee hive ceiling and a magnificent golden star right in the middle of the altar. The church was adorned with amazing blooms from Mr. Ariel Subang adding a burst of vibrant color to the church’s elegant design.
The lovely sounds of Da Capo Strings played throughout the ceremony and everyone gasped as the lovely bride entered the room in her stunning Evea couture gown.
Their ceremony was simply beautiful as they both incorporated so many special family members and friends into their bridal party. Eric’s sidelong glances and sweet smiles towards his beautiful bride were pretty evident in their on-site video by Reymark Maglonzo. Watching that video you could see the happiness radiate between them and the love they shared for one another.
The festivities began as soon as cocktail hour started and they never stopped! Miss Palou Abustan the bride’s aunt and the evenings host entertained the guests and brought smiles to everyone’s faces. Albergus created a feast that was amazing to see, but even more unbelievable to taste! Bokehbug known for taking amazing candids and breathtaking pictures compiled their prenuptial photos for everyone to see.
At the end of the reception, it was time for my favorite part of the evening, the lights were dimmed and lanterns provided by the bride and groom were lighted by everyone as heartfelt wishes and thanks overflowed from family members, friends and from the newlyweds. It was such a romantic and sentimental part of the evening that left some of the guests in tears.
Just when everyone thought that the night was over my second favorite part of the evening- the mob dance! – which signals the start of the after party! The Tolentino and the Trinidad families sure know how to throw a mean party! The dance floor was hopping as upbeat music was provided by Sir George it was a scene to behold as everyone and I mean EVERYONE was dancing from the bride and groom to their families and friends. There was no shortage of drinks from Soberclub and guests enjoyed having their pictures taken at the Disney inspired photo booth by Take a Pic. The celebration continued on until 2 am! It was truly an amazing wedding, an amazing party and a fantastic start to Duchay and Eric’s happily ever after!
To Duchay and Eric we will certainly miss all these months of laughter and camaraderie. It’s such a blessing to have met you and your families. May your love for one another always shine brightly and may you always live happily ever after!
