On San Sebastian’s beautiful and magnificent Gothic church in Malate, Manila the sweet and bubbly couple, Jayson and Christy, said “I do” on June 8, 2013. Christy looked stunning in a white delicately laced gown with beaded and lace shoulder embellishments by Chonalyn Bridal. Her radiant pinkish white complexion was almost translucent thanks to Beauty Addict’s Kim Rodriguez.
Jayson, her strapping groom, always by her side, supportive and absolutely adoring of Christy, is the best compliment a bride could ask for!
We appreciate how this lovely couple made time for the Merry Me team in spite of their busy schedules. Their wedding day was a chance to leave the rigors of their intense jobs behind, (Jayson is a successful architect and Christy works for a real estate company) even if just for a day, and embrace their romantic side. As a couple and our clients, we felt a tremendous honor to share in their planning journey and wedding day.
The gathering of family and friends, the decor elements which infused the meaning of people who share their lives with them, and a nod to time traveled, well-loved details brought together the intimate nature of their Chinese-Filipino wedding celebration.
After the kiss that sealed their vows the guests headed to Century Park’s grand ballroom and were greeted to a magical like setting. Blue and pink lights by LST Mobile infused the ballroom with warmth. Flowers by Elyvn’s Flowershop were the main decoration for the ballroom white calla and alstroemeria flowers with hotdog leaves adorned the stage. The tables were decked in yellow wyn, alstroemeria, and roses in glass. A photo booth from Shutterbox with the couple’s prenuptial photo as a backdrop and a variety of silly and cute props to choose from entertained guests as they wait for the program to start. Mr. Micheal Lim, the Masters of Ceremony kept the event flowing smoothly and even serenaded guests with 2 Chinese songs.
Rather than the usual buffet style dinner service family and friends were delighted with a 9 course lauriat style dinner service from Century Seafood Restaurant Manila, where meals were butlered and Chinese food were abundant. Dinner was made even more special by Frappe Band. The groom’s brother Mr. Jon Tan, one of the lead vocalists made the event more meaningful as he serenaded the couple and the guests with choice songs.
The couple’s engagement photos, their photos together as a couple and their same day edit video delighted everyone with that much “kilig” factor! We want to send a huge shout out to Niceprint for providing Jayson and Christy with these incredible images from their wedding, affording us the ability to retell their story by sharing them with us, and hands down, being the perfect fit for Jayson and Christy!
The night was complete as minicakes and cupcakes by Hearts and Bells were given as take home treats. The perfectly sweet ending to a lovable and oh so sweet couple’s wedding! We were honored to be chosen to coordinate Jayson and Christy’s wedding, to carry out their vision and to have the immense pleasure of getting to know them and their families. We wish them the very very best!
Thank you everyone for the professionalism and the exceptional work!
