Purple was my absolute favorite color growing up (aside from pink), and would regularly fill my room with all kinds of pretty purple stuff.
If Sofia the First had been around when I was a kid, I bet I would have been just as smitten and would love the opportunity to throw a party in that theme. When one of those little girls’ birthday rolled around doting parents aka Leandro and Martha Domingo knew just what to do!
An escape to Tagaytay from their busy lives as doctors for Doc Noel and Doc Kristine’s wedding was like a fairy tale. I still cannot believe how beautiful and romantic the entire celebration turned out…
The wedding took place in one of our favorite venues, the stunning Ville Sommet in Tagaytay.
The wedding day began with a welcome refreshment from Starbucks while Pillowcase the band serenaded the guests. Shepherds of the Hills choir, the couple’s special guests played a wonderful ballad while the lovely bride walked down the aisle in her beautiful Tin Yu gown and picture perfect makeup by Abbie Feraren. Doc Noel looked every bit as dashing in his Edwin Valerio suit. The ceremony was conducted by Pastor Emmanuel Nanez, a longtime friend of the family. He knew all the right words to make the ceremony meaningful, as they began their new lives together.
With such a cool July breeze in the air, I couldn’t resist sharing this absolute beauty of an engagement shoot which is nothing but fun!
Bears , balloons, hearts and flowers! Oh let’s go and have some fun! This cute and fun loving couple, both doctors played through Studio Namu’s different backdrops, While they were playful, Edu from Extreme Details Photography captured moments of laughter and love. Continue reading →
Our next couple is near and dear to our wedding planners. They are Shai and Jay’s personal trainers! More than someone who keeps them fit and healthy these two lovebirds have become confidantes and friends.
Merry Me is honored and more than ecstatic to be invited as guests and to coordinate this beautiful and intimate event! Lovers of health and fitness Carmel and Mike met where else but at the gym! The best relationships and love stories are after all built on a foundation of mutual interests and likes. For these two working out and working as personal trainers at the gym was the first step towards a happy marriage.
Something blue, something old, something new and something borrowed… while traditions would always prevail in a wedding gone are the days of the cookie cutter wedding. Nowadays we are seeing brides and grooms celebrating their own way and we love how unique each event turns out!
RULE 01: A White Gown is A Must!
New Rule: You don’t have to wear white. While the timeless white gown can never go out of style we are seeing more brides walking down the aisle in different hues. Gold, pinks and even red!
As long as you feel fabulous in your outfit, it can be any colour or style. Warning: It may shock older guests as wearing white is associated “purity.” You can opt for a white gown that has a hint of colour a black sash in your gown or a red belt. Traditional but with a twist!
RULE 02: Invite dad’s business associate, mom’s best friend and her family etc. that you end up not recognizing many of the faces at your fete.
New Rule: Make the day about the people who matter to you or the true VIP’s in your life. Couples want to celebrate with people they care about, those who will still be in their lives for years to come. Don’t feel obligated to invite all of your folk’s special friends as this is your big day!
RULE 03: The first time you see your groom on your wedding day should be at your ceremony.
New Rule: First look! There’s no doubt that one of the most emotional wedding day moments is when the bride and groom see each other for the first time. While some traditional couples prefer to save the big reveal for the moment the bride comes walking down the aisle, others decide to do a “First Look” — taking a private moment to see each other before the ceremony.
As a wedding coordinator I personally recommend the First Look. A lot will happen on your wedding day; you mingle and greet guests, talk to friends whom you haven’t seen for a long time, dance, cut the cake, etc.
It’s always nice to experience a familiar venue in a new way. The Glass Garden’s magnificent Diamond Hall was once again a witness to a newlyweds first celebration of their love as man and wife. Ian and Vie had a delightfully colorful wedding at Christ the King Church captured by CamZar Photography and Zoombox Wedding Videos. Their wedding was infused with pastel colors of yellow, peach pink and plum. Vie was a sight to behold in an elegantly designed dress by Edward Teng; its intricate details brought out her best features.
Guests enjoyed a photo booth by Camera Craze, games with the lovely host Jan May and cocktails after the ceremony while the bride and groom took a trip near the church for a beautiful portrait session. Dinner flowed with great food by Center Table, cake by Vienna Cakes and Sound Impact made sure all the guests were entertained playing all of Ian and Vie’s favorite songs. Heartwarming messages by family made both Vie and Adrian tear up a bit good thing she still looks picture perfect thanks to make up by Lee Figueroa. In one of our favorite weddings this 2013 Ian and Vie ended the night as they had met, with joy amongst their dearest friends.
